About

The Preservation Alliance is a non-profit organization based in the Greater-Philadelphia area. They advocate to preserve buildings that hold historical value throughout out the city.

I had worked with a group of 4 other designers to redesign and reconfigure their navigation to be user friendly and straightforward.

We wanted to know what were things they thought that were super important for their community. As well what could be combined together to reduce their vast navigation already. Afterwards we focused on what they needed in their main navigation before we could even think about their website design. Through this we divided a portion of each website and throughly gone through each page and see their significance/amount of content on their page.

Therefore we were able to produce a sitemap that was more consolidated and straightforward to navigate.
With this establish we were able to think about giving their website a fresh breathe. We prioritize their main top navigation. Then understanding that they have a lot of information that they need two sub navigations one underneath the main navigation, as well as a side navigation within the section of the website they’re in.
